After a typical morning of me dragging my feet, the kids and I decided to go to the Honolulu Zoo. Cut ahead to extensive sunscreen application, when we all faced the realization that it was just too hot and sunny. We took a detour to the Bishop Museum instead. There is currently an animatronic dinosaur exhibit and of course, the erupting volcano. Now I have yet another annual pass! We still haven’t been to the Polynesian and Hawaiian Halls yet, so there’s still a lot more to see.

After our short museum visit, Joe dutifully made them 200 water balloons for some more backyard fun. What a life!!!
